The Company:
International Student Volunteers (www.isvonline.org) operates volunteer work and adventure travel programs for university students. ISV operates programs in eight countries around the world (2 week volunteer projects and 2 week adventure tour).

The Job:
ISV will be hiring individuals for the position of Tour Leader. The role entails leading groups of 15-30 university students (aged 18-25) mostly from North America, Canada and England on ISV’s 2-week adventure tour. Applicants must possess:

• Strong leadership, organizational and communication skills.
• Approachable character that will relate well to ISV participants.
• The ability to be resourceful, dependable and to solve problems.
• Great motivation and a confident high-energy personality.
• Pro-active attitude towards student’s safety and well being.
• Be able to  provide information on: Environmental issues & concerns, Flora and fauna, Ecotourism, Geography, Culture
• Experience leading groups, particularly in outdoor environments.  

Requirements:

• Be able to commit to work for at least 6 weeks through May to September season.
• Be 21 years or older.
• Conversational Spanish/English skills.
• First Aid Certification.
• Prior study/interest in issues of sustainable development, conservation, ecotourism and/or ecology.
